EVA stands for ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer

EVA laminated Glass is a Laminated glass with EVA film sandwiched between two glass sheets.

EVA is also used as an interlayer film for laminated glass. Compared with PVB and SGP, EVA has better fluidity and lower melting temperature (around 110°C).

The EVA film layer has good fluidity and can be processed into decorative glass with patterns and designs, such as silk-screen printing or rolling. EVA has good water resistance as well

Smart & Speciality Glass
The SentryGlas® ionoplast interlayer is five times stronger and up to 100 times stiffer than conventional laminating materials.
With this kind of strength, glass can be used as a more active structural element building envelopes, opening up many innovative design possibilities. In addition to its strength, SentryGlas® retains its clarity – even after years of service. Unlike other interlayers, SentryGlas® is much less vulnerable to moisture exposure or yellowing over time.
Initially developed for the protection required for hurricane glazing in the United States, SentryGlas® now has a global application footprint, as structural engineers around the world have recognized that possibilities delivered by its outstanding structural capabilities. Applications include façades, overhead glazing, balustrades, doors, partitions and more.
